FUnctional intracellular analysis (FIA)
FIA is an extremely informative blood test that assesses the patient for possible vitamin, mineral, antioxidant and other micro-nutrient deficiencies by measuring their concentrations within the white blood cells called lymphocytes.

Lipoprotein Particle Profile Plus (LPP+)
This test measures the size, density and number of good and bad cholesterol. It also measures total cholesterol, triglycerides and other genetic markers of the cardiovascular system, which accurately assesses the patient’s risk for heart disease.
|
bio-impedence testing
This analysis uses the TANITA scale and monitoring system to quantify the patient’s basal metabolic rate (BMR) by assessing daily energy requirements for the patient’s specific age, gender and weight. It also calculates the patient’s body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage, lean muscle mass, visceral fat and hydration level.

standard blood testsThese are the essential tests that Dr. Pacholec uses to address each patient’s unique blood chemistry. The standard blood panel includes a comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid profile, complete blood count, and concentration of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). Additional blood tests may also be used to screen for levels of vitamin D3, folate, free T-3 and T-4, insulin, DHEA and hormones.
|
Vitamin TestingDr Pacholec uses highly advanced intracellular micronutrient testing provided through Genova Diagnostics, ALCAT, GI-MAP to assess vitamin levels and analyze markers for common gastrointestinal disorders, including Celiacs, Leaky Gut Syndrome, SIBO, cardiometabolic diseases, gluten sensitivity and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

hormone imbalance testing
Testing for testosterone, progesterone and estrogen may benefit patients who feel fatigued, irritable, depressed or suffer from headaches/migraines, infertility, loss of sex drive, weight gain, or mood swings. Hormone imbalances may also contribute to stubborn weight loss, weight gain and weight control. We use standard blood testing through Quest Diagnostics or specialized saliva testing through ZRT Labs and Dutch Test for a more detailed analysis.
